What country means to me, my love.

When posed with the question, “what is your guilty pleasure music?” a few years ago, the usual answer seemed to be “country music”. But why? Why do people feel the need to be ashamed of a love for all things country? Moreover, why does it bother me?

The future and why I really don’t like to think about it!

It’s a standard cliché for a person not to think about their future, and it’s a box that I fit into incredibly comfortably. Not because I don’t think my future is bright, far from it! No, it’s more because I have literally no idea what I am going to be doing in 6 months time.

Upgrading from Blackberry to Android!

At the end of November, I decided to upgrade from a BlackBerry to an Android. BlackBerry had been doing my head in due to the lack of fun apps available, especially on the Pearl, so I wanted to upgrade either to an iPhone or an Android.

The Oscars 2013

TGIAS… or Thank God It’s Awards Season. I’m not going to deny it, I love awards season. And the highlight is The Oscars. The most prestigious and biased film awards ceremony. Today, was an important day though, as the nominations for the 85th Annual Academy Awards were released!

Ellen’s Short Round Up of 2012

2012 is well and truly over, and it was a good year, with a lot of good films, music, books, and TV, so I thought I’d do a short round-up of my favourites!
